Areas of Focus
The areas I focus on reflect my own interests and experiences, but they’re simply a place to begin. Your story is entirely your own, and I’m open to walking alongside you as we explore challenges, questions, or experiences you bring to our work together. When working with adults, some of the areas I focus on are:
- Grief and loss
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma
- Relationship and family issues
- Self-esteem and identity
My background in educational settings across Australian schools provides me with a unique lens and enhances my ability to offer holistic support to children and families navigating mental health concerns. I work with children and families to enhance emotional awareness, build self-regulation, and support more connected ways of being in the world, and some of the areas I focus on are:
- Anxiety, worries and fear
- Depression and low mood
- Emotional regulation and coping skills
- Behavioural challenges
- School-related stress or engagement
- Relationships with peers and family
- Grief, loss and family changes (eg. divorce or separation)
- Trauma and attachment issues
